We all love the taste of going out to eat, but the thing we all worry about is one of two things if not both things. The first thing is that you have a limited amount of money. The other thing is to make sure that you are eating a good nutritious meal. Here are a few suggestions for you if you are going to try eating out on a budget and nutritionally.

Order water instead of other drinks. It’s normally free and you can get as many refills as you want. Not to mention, it’s good for you.
If you can, share a meal. There are some places that give you way too much for your money which is good, but you can cut the calories by sharing meals.
Skip on dessert. While that is the best part, you can save money in this area and eat dessert at home or don’t eat it at all.
Substitute your sides. When you get meals, you can look for those meals that if they serve fries, you can see if you can get a veggie instead.
Last of all, if you are looking to eat healthy while on a budget, go to sit down restaurants rather than fast food where they have specials and you can share while getting a healthy meal and where you can get more for your money. Plus they have coupons at many of them.

Asian dining can really be a hit or miss experience, but New Jersey provides a vast array of truly excellent, healthy Asian restaurants. Well-established joints, such as Veggie Heaven with locations in Denville, New City, Montclair, and Teaneck and Asian Garden with locations in Highland Park and Union, provide less-greasy options with a large selection of vegetable dishes.
The Asian Food Center (in Princeton) and Great Wall Supermarket (in Franklin Park) provide a wide range of affordable groceries from which you can cook up simple meals with just a handful of those fresh ingredients. With a few radishes, some salt, finely-pounded rock sugar, and a tablespoon each of chili sauce and sesame oil, you can have a light, excellently spiced appetizer. If fried rice is what you are craving, toss some cooked rice with oil, an egg, and soy sauce, then add some cooked peas and sliced spring onion, and, finally, add a dash of sesame oil and salt and pepper. While perusing the Great Wall Supermarket, if you decide to pick up a meal instead, there are plenty of fewer-calorie options at the in-store restaurant as well. You may even pick up a tip on Asian cooking from the experienced cooks there!
